NetSuite Sales Force Automation to HubSpot
NetSuite SFA is the CRM module of NetSuite. It covers leads, prospects, customers, contacts, opportunities, estimates, activities and forecasting, on the same record base as the ERP.
NetSuite Sales Force Automation data can move into HubSpot, landing mainly in Sales Hub. 2 of 6 mapped objects move directly (Customer / Lead / Prospect (company-type) and Contact); 4 items need manual work and 3 do not move. Plan roughly 2-4 weeks for a small move and 8-16 weeks for a large one.

The three scenarios
Small migration
<25k
CSV import with a basic pipeline.
Mid migration
25k-250k
Saved searches or API, activity history, rebuilt workflows.
Large migration
>250k
API extraction, ERP integration, custom objects.

Access, mapping and limits
Start with how data leaves NetSuite Sales Force Automation: what you need to get in, what lands in HubSpot, and what will not.
SuiteTalk REST and SOAP web services, plus SuiteQL, RESTlets and SuiteAnalytics Connect (ODBC/JDBC)
Account ID, plus integration and token credentials. The token-based key/secret set appears in the third-party library example. I did not find the full NetSuite auth docs.
Role permissions control which records and fields a user can export. An admin-level or custom role with web services and export rights is likely needed, but I did not confirm the exact permissions.
Row counts, concurrency and governance units are limited. I did not verify the exact figures.
Choose your route
How will you move the data?
No native connector was found.
- You need: Account ID, plus integration and token credentials. The token-based key/secret set appears in the third-party library example. I did not find the full NetSuite auth docs.
- Permission: Role permissions control which records and fields a user can export. An admin-level or custom role with web services and export rights is likely needed, but I did not confirm the exact permissions.
Native imports often bring over only some data, so check coverage per object in the mapping below.
Export each object, clean it, then import it into HubSpot.
- Full CSV Export (Setup > Import/Export > Export Tasks), which does not cover all data
- Saved search export to CSV, Excel or PDF
- Report export to CSV
- SuiteQL via REST
- SOAP web services
- SuiteAnalytics Connect (ODBC/JDBC), which is an additional paid service
- RESTlets and SuiteAnalytics Workbook
Limits: Row counts, concurrency and governance units are limited. I did not verify the exact figures.
Migration and sync tools can move more than a plain import. Confirm which objects each one supports before you choose.
Best when volume is high, custom objects are many or automation is heavy. That is the Large scenario: 8-16 weeks, usually phased.

| Source object | In HubSpot | Moves | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Customer / Lead / Prospect (company-type) | Companies | yes | Export by record type through saved searches, including Internal ID, to preserve keys. |
| Contact | Contacts | yes | Saved searches are organized by record type (contact, customer, vendor), so export each separately. |
| Opportunity | Deals | partial | Export through a saved search. Stages and pipeline need to be mapped manually. |
| Activities (tasks, events, calls, notes) | Tasks | partial | Each activity type needs its own saved search. Coverage should be audited. The target objects are Tasks, Calls, Meetings and Notes. |
| Employees / sales reps | Contacts | manual | Map reps to HubSpot owners by email. |
| Cases | Tickets | partial | Only relevant if the NetSuite support module is in use. |
What to expect
Logic is not exportable as HubSpot workflows and has to be rebuilt.
NetSuite role definitions do not map to HubSpot permission sets.
Only result data exports. The definitions have to be recreated in HubSpot reports.
Replace NetSuite workflows and scripts.
The role model differs.
Saved searches and reports need recreating in HubSpot.
Full CSV Export does not export all data, so verify the exports.
Include Internal IDs and relationship columns in every export and use them as join keys.
Export in chunks, or use SuiteQL or the API. Reconcile counts afterwards.
Scope the exports to CRM fields and the roles that need them.
Data governance and compliance
Decide what is allowed to move before anything is exported. Tick each gate once it is agreed.
How we researched this page
How much to trust each section, and where it comes from.
Export paths are backed by Oracle docs and migration guides. I found no HubSpot docs for a NetSuite connector and no NetSuite SFA object-mapping docs. Object mapping, auth details and governance rest on category-level knowledge.
